These multi-platform applications work together by speaking to the same platform Application Programming Interface (API) server. You can think of this API system as a centralized “HQ” or “brain” that acts as a single communication point.
The API server secures data, keeps changes in sync, and ensures information is served consistently to all customers across different platforms.
We run it all on a scalable cloud infrastructure
How exactly does a single API service serve hundreds, thousands, or even millions of people? Well, that’s made possible through our scalable cloud infrastructure. We deploy the API service on a set of secure servers around the world to run firewalls, database and web servers on a virtual private cloud.
The scalability of our cloud infrastructure benefits clients as this system adjusts to clients’ business needs. It auto-scales to save costs on quiet days and provides extra capacity when it’s needed on busy days.
To keep things running smoothly for the people we serve, we provide a user-friendly admin dashboard that empowers the client’s operations team to publish new content and solve customer issues across all platforms.
